2021: Home prices in Palmyra increased

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Palmyra rose by $85,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 25 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $250,000 - a 51.5% increase over the $165,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in Palmyra in 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Palmyra for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,933, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for 2021.
