The fourth quarter of 2021: Home prices in Shannon increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Shannon rose by $74,750 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $154,000 - a 94.3% increase over the $79,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Shannon in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Shannon for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,385, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
