The second half of 2021: Home prices in Thomson increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Thomson rose by $22,500 while total sales decreased by 44.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $111,500 - a 25.3% increase over the $89,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Thomson in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Thomson for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,824, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
