2021: Home prices in Thomson increased

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Thomson rose by $44,250 while total sales decreased by 46.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $117,750 - a 60.2% increase over the $73,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Thomson in 2020.

The median sales tax in Thomson for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,824, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for 2021.
