Rising home prices in Sterling in the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Sterling rose by $6,250 while total sales decreased by 5.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 100 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,000 - a 7% increase over the $88,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 106 homes sold in Sterling in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Sterling for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,181, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
