City of Fulton City Council met July 25.

Approve Council Meeting Minutes from July 11, 2022 (pages 1-5)

8. Business

A. Approve sale of property (approximately 43 acres) in Industrial Center to Dan Dolan. First 18 acres to be sold at the price of $10,640 per acre and the remaining acres to be sold at the price of $15,000 per acre. Contract will be drawn up by Attorney Shirk.

B. Approve issuance of A-1 Liquor License to Vicky Grewal.

C. Approve grant request pay draw to Porter Brothers in the amount of $232,908.39 for the 8th Street Project. (pages 14-19)

D. Approve agreement between Downtown Auto Clinic and the City of Fulton for maintenance on Police Department Vehicles. (pages 20-22)

Motion: To Approve

E. Approve extension on issuance of building permit for Manreet and Melanie Kalyan for property located at the intersection of 4th Street and 10th Avenue. (According to Contract - building permit was supposed to transpire within 180 days after signed contract)

9. Discussion

Excess monies after sale of property in Industrial Center. City Administrator recommends using Fund 71 (Business Development Fund) to tract extra funds.

B. Liquor License Ordinance - City Administrator recommends not to eliminate a license automatically if it is surrendered or lost. (pages 23-24)

C. Mayor recommends the addition of an A-1 Liquor License. Mr. Singh has gone through the application and met all criteria that the State of Illinois requests. At this time, Mayor Wendy, as Liquor Commissioner, recommends an addition of an A-1 License, to meet the Singh’s request for property located at 1615 4th Street in Fulton.

D. Alderman Mask and Alderman Brondyke – present findings for Cemetery Property to Fulton Township (1st Ward Meeting) (page 25)

E. ARPA Funds – per Alderman Mask - What will the monies be used for?
