The Illinois House Minority Leader organized a free utility clinic to assist local residents in identifying unnecessary charges on their natural gas, electric, and phone bills. The event was conducted by the Citizen’s Utility Board (CUB), an organization established in 1983 by the Illinois General Assembly to advocate for residential and small-business utility customers across the state.
During the clinic, attendees were guided through understanding their bills, informed about energy efficiency programs, and introduced to solar access options. "Leader McCombie was pleased to offer an opportunity for residents to learn more and help save them money on their bills," according to a statement from the event.
