Sen. Win Stoller (R-Peoria) will host office hours from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Thursday at his Geneseo office throughout August.

“For people who aren't able to visit the office during that timeframe, you can still call 309-944-3737 to schedule an appointment,” Stoller wrote on Facebook.

Stoller claimed victory in the June 28 primary election over candidate Brett Nicklaus.

Stoller recently took to Facebook to talk about his visit with the Geneseo Chamber of Commerce’s Zack Sullivan.

“It’s always good to sit down with Sullivan at the Geneseo Chamber of Commerce and hear what legislative issues are important to northwestern Henry County,” Stoller posted. “Also, the Chamber is a great source of local event information and supports a community calendar featuring a variety of activities including Geneseo Shoot the Loop, described on their site as one of the best monthly small town car cruise events in the Midwest. Thanks, Geneseo Chamber, for all you do!”

As part of the Senate, he’s in several standing committees such as the Environment and Conservation committee.

Stoller recently announced a new team member to his district staff, welcoming Jim Nowlan in a July 29 Facebook post.

“I am beyond excited to welcome Jim Nowlan to my district staff,” Stoller said in the post. “(Nowlan) has a long and distinguished history in government and public service, which will be a crucial asset as our office continues its efforts to provide the people of the 37th Senate District with exemplary constituent services.”

Geneseo Republic reported Stoller also visited the Hammond-Henry Hospital during national hospital week.

Stoller was first elected to the Illinois Senate in 2021. His legislative experience includes serving on the Environment and Conservation and Senate Higher Education committees.
