According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 74 students during the year. This equates to two percent of the 3,106 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for 20 incidents with violence that caused physical injury, six incidents with alcohol and tobacco, nine incidents with drugs.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were 21. There was one incident of violence with injury. For 18 incidents, students were suspended for one to two days.
Boy students received 53 suspensions, while 21 girls were suspended.
There were 54 elementary or middle school students, and 20 high school students suspended in 2020-2021 school year.
The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for violence with injury, of which there were 19. There were 18 incidents of unspecified reasons. For 24 incidents, students were suspended for one to two days.
