City of Dixon Veterans Memorial Park Commission met Sept. 28.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Al Wikoff, Keane Hudson, Tom Bushman, Gary Debord, Mike Mills, Terry Stephenitch, Mike Jordan, Butch Pfeifer

GUESTS PRESENT: Dalton Nutall

CALL TO ORDER: On September 28th @ 6:30 P.M. Meeting was called to order by vice chairman Keane Hudson, followed by the pledge of allegiance

PUBLIC COMMENTS: Dalton Nutall stated that the Dixon elks lodge would be hosting a dinner November 10 th, Free to all veterans, please call the elks if you are planning to attend

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

A) READING OF PRIOR MEETING MINUTES OF AUGUST 24TH 2022: Motion was made by Gary Debord to approve, and was 2nd by Mike Jordan, motion passed by voice vote

B) FINANCIAL/TREASURER: A motion was made by Gary Debord to approve report and was 2nd by Butch Pfeifer, motion passed by voice vote

C) ARTIFACTS: Al Wikoff stated that the air force to do an update on the F105 in the near future

D) GROUNDS/BUILDINGS/PROPERTY/MAINTENANCE: Mike Mills talked of extending sidewalk from the ambulance to straight up to the east side of the HHQ building

E) LEGACY STONES/DEDICATION: Next stone dedication October 9th 2022 @ 2:00 P.M.

F) FLAGS: Purple heart flag has been ordered

G) IT/COMPUTERS/WEBSITE/EMAIL: Roger Willey setting up pay pal acct

H) CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION/THANK YOU: None

I) MEMORIAL DONOR PLAQUE: None

OLD BUSINESS: Turkey shoot tentatively set forNovember 6th 2022 @ Dixon VFW. Tom Bushman made a motion to set a $1500 limit for a Gun and safe raffle and, was 2nd by Mike Mills passed by voice vote

NEW BUSINESS: None

COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS: None

ADJOURNMENT: At 7:40 P.M. Tom Bushman made a motion to adjourn, and was 2nd by Al Wikoff, motion carried by voice vote
