The Morrison City Council met in Special Session on January 16, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Morrison Community Room, 307 South Madison Street, Morrison, Illinois. Mayor Vandermyde called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Michael Hemmer, City Clerk, recorded the minutes.
Alderpersons present on roll call were Kruse, Mahaffey, Zuidema, Welding, Tervelt, Bruckner, and Deets. Absent: West. Other City officials present were City Administrator Melton. Absent: Acting Police Chief (Sergeant) Soenksen, City Treasurer Jones.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
PUBLIC HEARING
At 6:04, the Council moved into Public Hearing to discuss the Application, Community Development Block Grant, State of Illinois FY2022. Bridget Stocks and Noah Carmichael of Fehr Graham reviewed the process and application. At 6:09, the Public Hearing was closed, with no public feedback.
CONSENT AGENDA
Ald Deets moved to approve Resolution 2023-01 - Resolution of Support for Application, Community Development Block Grant, State of Illinois, seconded by Ald Mahaffey. Ayes: Kruse, Mahaffey, Zuidema, Welding, Tervelt, Bruckner, and Deets. Absent: West. Motion passed.
Adjournment. Ald Zuidema moved and seconded by Ald Welding to adjourn at approximately 6:12 pm, without objection.
