Q1 2022 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Carroll County?

There were four offenders living in Carroll County released on parole during the first quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows all of the released offenders in Carroll County were men. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2021, and the oldest was a 58-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2020.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Daniel D. Brown. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2020 when he was 56 years old. He is now 58.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter of 2022 in each Carroll County.
