City of Dixon Veterans Memorial Park Commission met May 24.

COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Roger Willey, Keane Hudson,Scott Brinkmeier,Al Wikoff, Lexi Willey, Butch Pfeifer, Gary Debord, Terry Stephenitch, Tom Bushman, Charlie Thomas
GUESTS PRESENT: None
CALL TO ORDER: On May 24th 2023 @ 6:30 P.M. Meeting was called to order by chairman Roger Willey, followed by the pledge of allegiance
PUBLIC COMMENTS: None
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
A) READING OF PRIOR MEETING MINUTES OF APRIL 26TH 2023; Butch Pfeifer made a motion to approve, and was 2nd by Al Wikoff, motion was passed by voice vote.
B) FINANCIAL/TREASURER; Our report from April 26th meeting was read due to computer glitch Charlie Thomas made a motion to approve and was 2nd by Gary Debord. Our report for our May 24th meeting was then read, a motion to approve was made by Keane Hudson, and was 2nd by Scott Brinkmeier, Report was passed by voice vote.
C) ARTIFACTS: Al Wikoff did the update for the air force for the F150, Al also said that we have a chance to aquire a T-33 F-88 @ Dayton, Ohio. Charlie Thomas made a motion to pursue, and was 2nd by Keane Hudson
D) GROUNDS/BUILDINGS/PROPERTY/MAINTENANCE: Water meter was put on for water
E) LEGACY STONES/DEDICATION: June 11th 2023 @ 2 P.M. We will need help for the dedication. August 15th shut off date for applications for October 8th stone dedication
F) FLAGS: Gary Debord explained diff in prices for the new flags
G) IT: Roger Willey looking into prices for night vision cameras
H) CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION/THANK YOU: None
I) MEMORIAL DONOR PLAQUE: None
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS: We are still waiting for estimates for arbor repair
COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS: WWII Reenactment: Sunday May 28th set up @ 3 P.M. help tear down Monday afternoon @ 4 P.M. Have Clean-up day
