The Illinois Housing Development Authority is now accepting applications for the Illinois Homeowner Assistance Fund, which aims to provide support to homeowners who are struggling with mortgage payments, property taxes, insurance, and homeowner/condo association fees. Homeowners in need of assistance are urged to apply online before the deadline of October 31st to potentially receive up to $60,000 in mortgage and property tax aid.
