State Representative Bradley J. Fritts has been actively engaging with his constituents and local communities in District 74. In recent weeks, he has participated in various events and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the residents he serves.

One of the upcoming events that Rep. Fritts is promoting is the Rx Drop-Off Drive. In collaboration with the Sauk Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois State Police, and the Sterling Police Department, the drive seeks to provide a safe and proper disposal method for unwanted or expired prescription medications. Rep. Fritts urges community members to participate in this event, which will take place on Saturday, December 9th, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Sauk Valley Chamber of Commerce Parking Lot in Sterling.

In addition to the Rx Drop-Off Drive, Rep. Fritts has been actively involved in community outreach efforts. He recently visited the Lasalle County Sheriff’s Office, where he engaged in productive discussions with the Sheriff and his team to better understand their challenges and explore ways in which he can assist them in Springfield.

Rep. Fritts also had the opportunity to interact with young entrepreneurs at the Whiteside Area Career Center. He expressed his admiration for their ambition and highlighted the importance of encouraging the next generation to build and grow new businesses in the community.

During his visit to Northbrook Middle School in Mendota, Rep. Fritts served as Principal for a day and had the pleasure of meeting dedicated faculty and staff members who are committed to the growth and education of future generations. He extended his gratitude to Principal Paula Daley for organizing the event and for her exceptional work with the students.

Rep. Fritts also took part in the annual food drive hosted by Prescott Brothers Ford, Inc. The event was a tremendous success, with over 2 tons of food collected and $12,318 raised for the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry. He expressed his appreciation to everyone who contributed to helping community members in need.

In Rochelle, Rep. Fritts attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Willis Senior Lofts. This development aims to address the growing need for housing for the elderly population. Rep. Fritts commended the collaborative efforts of those involved in making the project a success.

Turning his attention to local businesses, Rep. Fritts highlighted Midwestern Clothing Company in Rochelle for his November 2023 local business highlight. This family and friend-owned business has been actively involved in the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and has made significant contributions to local fundraisers and events. Rep. Fritts spoke with the founders, Haley, Kelsey, and Alyssa, who expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to work and be involved in their community.

To further engage with his constituents, Rep. Fritts has launched the 2023 Legislative Survey. This survey aims to gather feedback from District 74 residents on their priorities and concerns. By understanding the unique needs of his constituents, Rep. Fritts can advocate for legislation that directly addresses the issues they face. The survey covers a range of topics, including general feedback and specific policy areas such as gun bans and tax increases.

To stay informed about Rep. Fritts' work and activities, constituents are encouraged to visit his website and follow him on Facebook for regular updates. Rep. Fritts reassured constituents that he will continue to provide updates through his e-newsletter to keep them informed about his efforts in Springfield and his service to the district.

Rep. Fritts' dedication to serving his constituents is evident through his active involvement in the community and his efforts to address their needs and concerns. His commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous District 74 is commendable, and he remains open to hearing from his constituents to ensure their voices are heard.
