State Representative Bradley Fritts (IL) | Representative Bradley Fritts (R) 74th District

State Representative Bradley J. Fritts has been actively engaged in community outreach and local business highlights in District 74. At a recent event, he emphasized the importance of maintaining smoke detectors in homes, stating, "Don’t forget to test the smoke detectors in your home and replace the batteries!"

Fritts also commended the Whiteside County Health Department for its expansion of the Whiteside County Community Health Clinic, adding optometry services and a covered drop-off area for patients. He expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you to the WCHD for your work to expand healthcare services in our area!"

In celebrating the grand opening of a new Dollar Tree in Dixon, Fritts extended a warm welcome to the establishment, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome you to our community!"

Acknowledging the retirement of Bonnie O’Connell, who dedicated 50 years to nursing and served as the director of Heritage Square in Dixon, Fritts expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you for your decades of work ensuring compassionate care for our seniors!"

Fritts also visited the Tri-County Opportunities Council Head Start in Polo, where he engaged with students and discussed his work as a farmer. He expressed appreciation, stating, "I had a great time reading to the students and talking about my work as a farmer."

Additionally, Fritts highlighted Kennay Farms Distilling in Rochelle for their community contributions, particularly their support for local veterans and first responders. He commended the owners, Doris and Rick Kennay, for their dedication, stating, "I commend the Kennay family on their excellent products, hard work, and continued dedication to helping our community."

State Representative Fritts announced the launch of his 2024 Summer Internship Program, inviting students interested in state government to apply. He encouraged interested applicants to email his office at RepFrittsStaff@ilhousegop.org.

Fritts also extended an invitation to constituents planning to visit Springfield, emphasizing the importance of transparency in government operations. He encouraged accountability, stating, "It is crucial that the government operates with transparency, and I encourage you to hold me, and my colleagues, accountable!"
