House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is partnering with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to bring DMV services directly to area residents. The upcoming "Mobile DMV" event, scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Stockton Township Library, will provide residents with the convenience of accessing various DMV services on-site.

"I encourage anyone who is in need of renewing items at the DMV to take advantage of this easy access opportunity," stated Leader McCombie, emphasizing the benefits of the event in helping residents avoid wait times and experience the convenience of the DMV at their fingertips.

Residents interested in attending the event are required to pre-register online, as highlighted by the organizers. Acceptable forms of payment for the services offered at the event include personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards. Cash payments will not be accepted.

The Secretary of State’s mobile office will facilitate services such as renewing, replacing, or correcting driver’s licenses and state ID cards, purchasing vehicle registration renewal stickers, registering vehicle titles, and providing parking placards for persons with disabilities. Additionally, REAL ID Driver Licenses will be available for issuance at the event. It is important to note that seniors aged 75 and above are required to visit a DMV in person to renew a driver’s license.

For further inquiries about the event, individuals can contact Leader McCombie’s district office at 815-291-8989.
