Motion to Approve

Motion to approve bids for all audio/video for new chamber building and award bid to CTI. Enclosed are bids from CTI ($45,248.96) (pages 21-20) and SPL (Sound Production & Lighting, LLC ~ $76,328.06) (pages 31-45)

Motion to approve the cancellation of the May 27, 2024, City Council meeting due to falling on a holiday (Memorial Day).

Motion to approve the 2024-2025 Annual Budget for the City of Fulton, IL. (pages 46-69)

Motion to approve the Certificate of Authority by vote (pages 70-71). Explanation by Public Works Director, Eric Sikkema.

Motion to approve the Police Dept. to purchase a dog kennel and related materials from Sterling Fence and Deck, LLC in the amount of $1,750.00. (page 72)

Motion to Add and Approve a Class A-1 Liquor License for Adim and Sanela Dzeladini based on the approval of Chief Neblung stating they have followed the proper procedures to obtain one.

Committee of the Whole – Discussion

Continued discussion – Information regarding status of the new construction progress.

Continued discussion - Code Officer/Zoning Officer. Reference Chief Neblung’s letter as per his suggestions. (pages 73-75)

Chief Neblung will lead this discussion. There is a need to come to a consensus so we may begin to fill this vacancy, the new position and the International Property & Building Maintenance Code if so desired by Council.

We are continuing to work on the Business Registration form.

Aley Hamling, Business Manager-in-Training, will present a new schedule of City Hall hours beginning the week of April 29, 2024.
