House Minority Leader Tony McCombie was actively engaging with the communities in her 89th Legislative District this past week. Despite lawmakers not being in session, Leader McCombie seized the opportunity to participate in various events throughout the district.

McCombie, alongside State Rep. Brad Fritts, visited the Polo Fire Department, demonstrating her commitment to supporting local first responders. She also took the time to explore the Northwest Illinois Model Railroad Club in Chadwick, a hub for train enthusiasts and model train fans that has been thriving since its establishment in 2003.

In addition, Leader McCombie made appearances at the Jo Daviess County Senior Expo in Galena, providing valuable resources to seniors, and the King’s School Career Fair, distributing constitution booklets and other informative materials.

Emphasizing accessibility, McCombie continued to extend the reach of her district office by hosting mobile office hours in East Dubuque, ensuring that residents have convenient access to the services her office offers.

The week culminated in the Chadwick Fire Department Breakfast, where Leader McCombie enjoyed a meal in the company of first responders and constituents, further solidifying her connections within the community.
