House Minority Leader Tony McCombie spent time in her legislative district this week, visiting notable sites such as Wildberry Farms in Hanover and the Galena History Museum.
At Wildberry Farms, named the 2021 Environmental Steward of the Year by the Illinois Beef Association, McCombie toured the facilities. She met with owner Jim Berry and Cattle Manager Ben Lehman, who showcased their operation.
McCombie also visited the Galena History Museum, which features a variety of artifacts including letters and exhibits that highlight Galena’s history. The museum's collections range from one of Ulysses S. Grant’s cigar butts to 3-D holograms. The museum was renamed to include U.S. Grant's name to honor his legacy as a prominent resident of Galena—recognizing his roles as a businessman, leader of Union troops during the Civil War, 18th President of the United States, and respected family man.
