House Minority Leader Tony McCombie has issued a final call for submissions to her fourth annual Spring Photo Contest, inviting residents of the 89th Legislative District to participate. The contest encourages participants to capture images of people, landscapes, or landmarks within the community to highlight the beauty of spring.
"There is no better way to welcome a new season than through beautiful photos of our community," said McCombie. "In the past, I have seen great talent through photography, and I look forward to reviewing this year’s submissions and having the winners displayed in our offices."
Interested residents can submit photos that best represent the people and places of the 89th District, including statues and monuments. The winning entries will be displayed in Rep. McCombie’s Springfield and Savanna offices. Rep. McCombie will select the winning photos and invite the photographers for an unveiling at the Savanna office. The chosen photos will remain on display for the duration of the 103rd General Assembly.
