National Cow Appreciation Day highlights significance of cattle in food supply

Whether it be providing dairy or beef products, cows are an important part of the food supply. In particular, cows are well represented in House Minority Leader Tony McCombie’s district.

Leader McCombie expressed pride in representing rural northwest Illinois, which encompasses parts of seven counties and a significant number of cows. "A little 89th District trivia: Jo Daviess County ranked #1 in Illinois for Beef Cattle inventory as of January 2023."
