The Illinois Pork Producers Association has launched a new grant program aimed at supporting pork research in high schools and colleges.

The newly launched program seeks to engage students in hands-on research projects related to pig farming, nutrition, and overall pork production. The grant program offers up to $2,000 to help foster a new generation of talent dedicated to advancing pork production.

Applications are now open and are due by September 30. For more details on how to apply and the types of projects that qualify, interested schools can review the application: Illinois Pork Producers | Swine School Grant Program (ilpork.com).
