House Minority Leader Tony McCombie has extended her congratulations to the newly announced class of 2024 Edgar Fellows. As a former fellow, McCombie expressed satisfaction with the robust representation from her House Republican caucus.
The Illinois House Republicans are represented in this year’s class by State Representatives Jason Bunting, Nicole LaHa, Travis Weaver, and Regan Deering, who is a candidate for State Representative in the 88th District.
Leader McCombie will participate in the Edgar Fellows seminar as a featured speaker and anticipates engaging with the new class. “The Edgar Fellows program is an exceptional event for leaders around the state, and I am extremely proud of our members for being chosen for this great opportunity,” said McCombie. “I remember my time as a fellow fondly and am looking forward to attending the event this year to speak.”
