House Minority Leader Tony McCombie and State Senator Andrew Chesney provided a legislative update to the Genoa Chamber of Commerce. They were joined by DeKalb County Clerk and Recorder Tasha Sims, Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Krissy Johnson, DeKalb County Board member Kathy Lampkins, and Genoa Mayor Jonathan Brust.

A community school supply drive was held to assist area students in preparing for the new academic year.

Leader McCombie offers a free museum pass to families in the 89th District, allowing them to visit Chicago’s museums. Recently, a family from Byron used the pass to attend a dolphin show at the Shedd Aquarium. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the District Office for more information about obtaining the pass.

Additionally, Leader McCombie visited CSL Behring’s Kankakee manufacturing site with State Representative Jackie Haas. During the visit, she discussed with management leaders, learned about their manufacturing processes, and observed site operations.
