City of Fulton City Council met Aug. 26.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

1. Call to order the Council meeting for the City of Fulton.

2. Roll Call

3. Pledge of Allegiance

4. Presentations –

Alderperson Mask will continue her update on the Fidelity-Drives Historic Building Restoration Project: brief history; current status; next phase and future plans by members of the DHB Project.

5. Appointments – None

6. Recognition – None

7. Communication from Visitors (Any communication that is NOT on the agenda for consideration.)

8. Consent Agenda (All items in the consent agenda will be enacted by a single motion and roll call vote. Any item may be removed upon request by the Mayor or any Aldermen and considered individually after all other items of business on the consent agenda.)

Approve Regular Meeting Minutes from August 12, 2024, City Council Meeting 

Approve Treasurer’s Report as of July 31, 2024. (

9. Motion to Approve Gurlabh Singh, from Eagle River Liquor, his request for an A Liquor License. (He currently has an A-1 Liquor License which he will have to surrender if given the A License.)

10. Motion to Approve an Ordinance Amending Chapter 72 Entitled Parking Schedules of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Fulton. Prohibited Parking on Specific Streets, namely, the South side of 7th Avenue between its intersections with 12th Street and 13th Street between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday when school is in session and children are present. 

Committee of the Whole – Discussion

Continue discussion regarding the Drives Building.

Discussion on Trick or Treat night to be Thursday, October 31, from 6-8 p.m. (this is the same as Clinton’s)

Discussion held on the upcoming election by City Clerk, Tori Wade.

Continue discussion on the Marina, in order to put it on the next agenda for an Action Item.

Discussion – Alderperson needed to volunteer to be on the Windmill Area Steering Committee.
