State Representative Bradley J. Fritts has been named Outstanding Freshman of the Year by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. In a statement, Rep. Fritts expressed his gratitude: "I am incredibly honored to receive the Outstanding Freshman of the Year award from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to continuing working alongside the chamber to foster economic development and make Illinois a place where businesses and families thrive."

Rep. Fritts was also recognized for maintaining a 100% voting record with the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). He remarked, "It is truly an honor to receive a perfect voting score from the NFIB, an organization that advocates on behalf of small businesses across the nation. Illinois businesses are suffocating under the increasing pressure of regulations and tax hikes. We need to address this critical issue by passing pro-business legislation that will attract businesses and families back to Illinois."

In addition to his legislative work, Rep. Fritts announced his second annual Hunter Safety Course scheduled for September at Rochelle Masonic Lodge in Rochelle. He stated, "I am thrilled to offer my second annual Hunter Safety Course this September! With hunting season right around the corner, I want to offer my constituents a way to learn more about how to keep themselves and others safe while enjoying the outdoors."

Rep. Fritts has also introduced a new 'Community Calendar' on his official state website aimed at streamlining information about upcoming community events in District 74.

Concluding his 2024 Summer Tour, Rep. Fritts hosted several Coffee & Conversation events in various locations including Ziggie’s Family Restaurant in Mendota and Maple City Pancake House in Sterling. He extended his gratitude towards participants: "Huge thank you to everyone who came out to one of our events this summer! It was a pleasure to chat, answer questions, and hear more from the constituents of the 74th District."

During his tour, Rep. Fritts visited Down Range LLC in Rochelle and The IFH Group, Inc. in Rock Falls to discuss industry impacts due to recent legislation passed in Springfield.

Rep. Fritts also acknowledged Regional Media News WSDR 93.1-1240's 75th anniversary and attended a ceremony at Ogle County Sheriff’s Office honoring deputies Jason Ketter, Tad Dominski, and Tyler Carls for their bravery during an incident in June.
