Interstate 39/80 interchange construction in LaSalle County starts September 9

Construction at the Interstate 39/80 interchange in LaSalle County is set to commence on Monday, Sept. 9. The ramps will be closed during weekdays, with a posted detour directing traffic to use the inner loop ramps throughout the project. Completion is scheduled for late November.

Motorists can anticipate delays and are advised to allow extra time for travel through this area and prepare for slow and stopped traffic.
