State Representative Bradley J. Fritts has provided an update on his activities and upcoming events for constituents in his district. Following the conclusion of the 2025 spring legislative session, Rep. Fritts has been actively engaging with residents and attending various community events.
Rep. Fritts announced several upcoming summer tour events, including "Coffee & Conversation" sessions in Amboy and Sterling, as well as town halls in Morrison and at the Lee Fire Station. These events are part of his effort to maintain open communication with constituents.
The district office is offering resources for summer activities, such as a Museum Pass Request Form for free admission to participating museums in Chicagoland, and a Community Calendar to track local events. The calendar does not include for-profit, political, or personal events due to state ethics laws.
Recent community outreach efforts by Rep. Fritts include welcoming Little O’s Frozen Treats to the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and attending a blessing ceremony for OSF's Resilient Healing program, which supports survivors of sexual assault.
The first event of Rep. Fritts' 2025 Summer Tour took place at Lincoln Way Cafe in Franklin Grove, where he discussed legislative developments with attendees. He also visited Select Employees Credit Union in Sterling to discuss topics like interchange fees and community reinvestment.
Additionally, Rep. Fritts toured the Amboy Depot Museum and participated in a shred event with Self Help Enterprises that collected over 1,200 pounds of documents. An Agriculture Roundtable was co-hosted with Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie and State Representative Jeff Keicher in Sycamore.
In Dixon, Discover Dixon hosted Rep. Fritts along with State Senator Li Arellano for a legislative update session at the Post House. The City of Rochelle partnered with him for an Rx Drop Off Drive aimed at promoting community safety.
Rep. Fritts also presented Bill & Dick Barber Shop with a certificate honoring their 60th anniversary.
