State Representative Bradley J. Fritts recently highlighted Poolside Pools and Spas for their community contributions in September 2024. Founded by Jim and Cary McCue in 2006, the business offers various services such as inground pools and saunas. "Jim and Cary are dedicated to our community," said Rep. Fritts, noting their involvement with local Boy Scouts, school fundraisers, and hospice support.

Fritts also announced a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Drive scheduled for October 26th at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon. The event is a collaboration with House Minority Leader Tony McCombie, Sauk Valley Community College, and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA). Residents are encouraged to participate in this free service aimed at enhancing community safety.

In recent community outreach activities, Fritts's staff attended the Association of Equipment Manufacturers express bus tour at the Sewer Equipment plant in Dixon. Additionally, he spoke at the Sterling Riverfront Park groundbreaking ceremony alongside Sterling Mayor Diana Merdian. "Congratulations to the City of Sterling for making this project a reality!" stated Fritts.

A meet-and-greet event was co-hosted by Fritts with new Illinois Department of Transportation Region 2 engineer Trisha Thompson to discuss local infrastructure issues. State Representative Jeff Keicher and Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie joined him.

Fritts's staff also participated in the VisitNW Illinois annual meeting focused on regional tourism development plans. Furthermore, he toured the soon-to-be-completed childcare center at Dixon Family YMCA, which will accommodate over 200 children.

Rep. Fritts encourages constituents to visit his website for updates on legislative efforts and other district-related news.
