FOIA Request to City Of Mount Carroll Regarding Building Permits on October 30, 2024.
At NW Illinois News, we recently submitted a request under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140) to the City of Mount Carroll. Our request pertains to residential and commercial building permits issued by the city from January 1, 2023, till the present date.
We are specifically interested in obtaining a list that includes details such as the type of permit, date issued, fee paid, requester's name, address, and contractor's name for each permit. This information is crucial for us to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.
In addition to this, we have also requested a list of all active residential and commercial building permits along with their current status. Similar details like type of permit, date issued, fee paid, requester's name, address and contractor's name are sought for these active permits as well.
