On November 26, Freeport Athletics celebrated the Girls Basketball team's success in the Warren Turkey Tournament. They posted, " Big congrats to our Girls Basketball team for winning the Warren Turkey Tournament with a dominant 61-38 victory over Galena! Undefeated at 4-0 to start the season for the first time since 2009! Let’s keep it going, Pretzels! #PretzelPride #GoPretzels".
The following day, on November 27, Freeport Athletics reported a loss for the Girls F/S Basketball team against Taft High School. The tweet stated, "Basketball Girls F/S loses to Taft High School with a final score of 24 - 28."
