Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie has recently acknowledged the outstanding efforts of first responders in the community. Last week, McCombie presented members of the Polo Police Department with a Certificate of Recognition for their actions in saving a disabled individual from a house fire. The officers were dispatched to the scene and successfully carried the individual out of the burning home to safety.
McCombie emphasized the importance of recognizing their life-saving work and expressed gratitude for their dedication. “Thank you to the Polo Police Department for keeping residents safe! Our neighborhoods and the families in them are better off with your selfless service,” stated McCombie.
