Yesterday, State Representative Bradley Fritts (R-Dixon) hosted the Women to Watch event in Springfield, extending a warm welcome to notable attendees Dallas Knack and Dr. Jennifer Hintzsche. The event featured a variety of sessions, including a breakfast, a listening segment, a networking lunch, and seminars led by women in leadership positions.

“I was thrilled to welcome Dallas Knack and Dr. Jennifer Hintzsche to the Women to Watch Event,” stated Representative Fritts. “Both Dallas and Jennifer are incredibly accomplished women who are dedicated to making our community a better place.”

Dallas Knack is recognized for her community leadership with several organizations, including the Sauk Valley Community Leadership Program and the Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) Program. She also holds the position of executive director at the Sauk Valley Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she volunteers as an advisor for Alpha Gamma Delta chapters and leads the Empower Leadership Program for young women in the United States and Canada.

Dr. Jennifer Hintzsche, the first to earn a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Northern Illinois University in 2014, has made notable advancements in cancer genomics during her postdoctoral work at the University of Colorado. Her contributions have earned significant funding, published research, and clinical trials. Dr. Hintzsche is also known for developing the FDA-cleared at-home insemination kit, The PherDal Kit, aiding many women previously deemed infertile.

Rep. Fritts added, “This event was an incredible opportunity for Dallas, Jennifer, and dozens of other women from across Illinois to meet and network with other emerging women leaders. I was honored to welcome both of these accomplished women, who call the 74th district home, to Springfield.”

Both Knack and Hintzsche were among nearly 50 women from across Illinois honored at the event, which also highlighted their contributions in a recognition by House Republican Leader Tony McCombie. More details about Representative Fritts can be found at RepFritts.com.
