State Senator Li Arellano, Jr is collaborating with the Illinois Tollway to host an I-PASS On Demand event on May 19 in Rochelle. The initiative aims to assist motorists in upgrading their I-PASS technology from plastic transponders to the new Sticker Tags.

The event will be held at Rochelle City Hall, located at 420 North 6th Street, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Participants are advised to bring their driver’s licenses and license plate numbers for presentation to Illinois Tollway officials. Attendees should also anticipate brief wait times.

Officials from the Illinois Tollway will be present to help attendees transition to the new sticker technology without affecting their current I-PASS account activity. They will also address questions regarding I-PASS accounts and resolve any Pay By Plate issues.

The Sticker Tag can be used on the Illinois Tollway and E-ZPass roadways in other states within 24 hours of activation. No deposit is required for the Sticker Tag, and any existing $10 transponder deposit will be transferred upon activation.

For further details about the event, individuals can contact Michaelene at Senator Arellano’s office by calling 217-782-1650.
