Freeport Athletics has recently shared several updates highlighting the achievements of its student-athletes. The tweets from Freeport Athletics, which serves as a communication platform for Freeport High School sports, provide insights into recent victories and notable performances by the school's athletes.

On May 14, 2025, Freeport Athletics announced that the Baseball Boys Varsity team defeated Hononegah with a final score of 3 - 0. The victory was highlighted in a tweet stating "Baseball Boys Varsity defeats Hononegah with a final score of 3 - 0."
