McCombie addresses public safety after Chicago shootings over Labor Day weekend

Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie appeared on Fox News’ "The Faulkner Focus" to discuss public safety concerns in Chicago following a violent Labor Day weekend during which 55 people were shot.

During the interview, McCombie emphasized her position that public safety should not be influenced by partisan politics. She also responded to recent comments made by Governor Pritzker regarding the issue.

McCombie, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 and represents the state's 89th House District, succeeding Andrew Chesney.
