Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie will host two Medicare 101 seminars aimed at helping local residents navigate the Medicare system. The events, which will also feature State Representative Jeff Keicher and State Representative John Cabello, include a presentation from the Illinois Department on Aging’s Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP).
The seminars are designed to provide information on eligibility, coverage options, and assistance with out-of-pocket expenses. Organizers encourage attendees to come prepared with questions.
McCombie, a Republican who was elected in 2023 to represent Illinois’ 89th House District after succeeding Andrew Chesney, is working with her colleagues to offer these informational sessions.
The upcoming events are scheduled to take place in Genoa and Freeport.
