Freeport Athletics reports first quarter football scores between Freeport and Auburn

Freeport Athletics provided live updates on the early progress of a high school football game between Freeport High School and Auburn, reporting key plays and scores as they unfolded.

On September 20, 2025, Freeport Athletics reported via social media: "47yd TD Pass Olson to Mullens Two Pt Conversion is No Good @Auburn_AD 7 @PretzFB 6 7:51 left in 1Q". Later the same day, another update stated: "21yd TD Run Mullens. Two Pt Conversion is No Good @Auburn_AD 7 @PretzFB 12 5:17 left in 1Q". At the end of the first quarter, Freeport Athletics posted: "END OF 1Q @Auburn_AD 7 @PretzFB 12".

Freeport High School, located in Stephenson County, serves students in grades nine through twelve and had an enrollment of 1,084 during the 2019-2020 academic year according to the Illinois Report Card (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). The student body was comprised of approximately 50.5 percent white students, with black students making up about a quarter of enrollment, followed by Hispanic and Asian students (Illinois Report Card). The highest concentration of students was found in grade ten at just over twenty-four percent.
