Analysis: Rochelle pays $4.28 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Rochelle Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 81.1 percent of the $478,679 the Rochelle Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.28 for every $1 from pension members, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Rochelle contributed $388,135 to the fund, which saw a $62,865 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $90,544, or 18.9 percent, in 2016.
