Report: Eastland spent $12,283 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Eastland Community Unit School District 308 is down 4.6 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Carroll County school district spent $12,873 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,283 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 657 to 649.

Eastland's spending in 2017-18 was 7.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
