Report: Stockton spent $10,621 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Stockton Community Unit School District 206 is up 13.3 percent from five years ago, according to a NW Illinois News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Jo Daviess County school district spent $9,373 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,621 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 610 to 613.

Stockton's spending in 2017-18 was 20.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
