There were 691 Hispanic students enrolled in Stephenson County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 18.1% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Hispanic students made up 11.9% of the 5,795 students in the county. They were the third most represented ethnicity.

Among the five districts in Stephenson County, Freeport School District 145 recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 560 students.
