Byron Forest Preserve District issued the following announcement on May 8.
Join us for a celebration of spring at our popular Bald Hill Prairie Preserve for guided tours of the preserve’s restored oak savannas, grassland birds, spring wildflowers, geological features and the biggest tree in the state of Illinois. We will have hayrides and vehicle tours as well as walking tours and all with spectacular views from the top of Bald Hill. 5502 N Silver Creek Rd, Mt Morris. You don't have to register for this event.
