Byron Fire Protection District issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
The Byron Firefighter’s Association will be hosting their 1st Annual “KICK OFF to SUMMER CARNIVAL” on Memorial Day Weekend 2020. ByronFest has decided to select another carnival company other than the one that has been provided by the Firefighter’s Association since 1988. Byron Firefighter’s Association has had an outstanding working relationship with Skinner Amusements for the last 30+ years and wants to continue that relationship. The money raised by this event will allow us to continue supporting local organizations, charities and youth groups.
What: “KICK OFF to SUMMER CARNIVAL”
When: Memorial Day Weekend (Friday May 22nd - Sunday May 24th)
Where: Byron Fire Station (123 N. Franklin St. Byron, IL)
Details: Advanced ride tickets will be offered at a savings starting Monday, May 18th through Friday, May 22nd until 12 noon. Regular tickets will be available for sale during carnival hours.
