City of Dixon City Council met Feb. 24.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Councilman Marshall at 8:01am.

ROLL CALL

Councilman Considine, Marshall, Oros, and Venier answered Roll Call. Absent Mayor Arellano. Pledge of Allegiance was cited.

ELECTRONIC PARTICIPATION IN THE MEETING FOR MAYOR ARELLANO

Councilman Oros moved, pursuant to the provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act, to allow for Mayor Arellano to participate electronically in the meeting as necessitated by his out-of-town

military service for our country. Seconded by Councilman Considine. Voting Yea: Marshall, Oros, and Venier. Voting Nay: None. Motion Carried.

MAYOR ARELLANO JOINED THE MEETING AT 8:03AM

VISITORS/PUBLIC COMMENT None

WORK SESSION – FY2019/2020 Budget Review

City Manager Langloss and Public Works Director/Assistant City Manager Heckman gave a recap of the last meeting and presented on the Capital Improvement Plan budget for Administration, Information Technology, Police, Cemetery, Properties, Streets, Airport, Emergency Vehicle, and the Infrastructure Fund, Grants, Motor Fuel Tax, Federal DOT Enhancement Funds, and Recovery Fund. Discussion ensued during the presentation.

(Mayor Arellano left the meeting at 8:18am, bad connection) (Councilman Oros left meeting at 9:43 and returned at 9:44am).

ADJOURMENT

Councilman Considine moved that the Special Council Meeting of Monday, February 24, 2020, be adjourned to meet in Regular Session on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Seconded by Councilman Venier. Voting Yea: Venier, Considine, Marshall, and Oros. Voting Nay: None. Motion Carried.

The meeting adjourned at 10:05am.
