City of Dixon issued the following announcement on March 29.
Republic Services has been doing a great job of collecting garbage as regularly scheduled. They have made a couple of temporary adjustments to ensure that timely waste collection is maintain throughout this time when residents are spending more time at home.
1. All trash and garbage must be placed in bags in the totes (garbages cans). Garbage that is left outside the totes may not be picked up.
2. Republic Services has temporarily suspended yard waste pick-up as well as bulk waste collection.
