There were six offenders convicted of property crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 61081 during the first half of 2019, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the NW Illinois News.

The data shows that three men and three women were among the parolees. Of the parolees sentenced for property crimes, one is a veteran, and the median age is 39. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced in 2018, and the oldest was a 66-year-old woman sentenced in 2017.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Christina R. Buchholz. She was convicted of a property crime in 2015 when she was 43 years old. She is now 47.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
