Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Lee County?

There were 11 offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in Lee County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that 10 men and one woman were released in Lee County. The median age of the parolees was 32. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018, and the oldest was a 49-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2019.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Stephanie A. Lopez. She was convicted of a property crime in 2018 when she was 30 years old. She is now 33.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2019 in each Lee County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
