Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Lee County?

There were nine offenders released on parole during the third quarter of 2019 that live in Lee County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by NW Illinois News.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Lee County were men. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 40-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Aurelio Mancera. He was convicted of a property crime in 2010 when he was 19 years old. He is now 28.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter of 2019 in each Lee County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
